As many of you know, yesterday was the Earth's birthday so to say. The day where for once, we look after our home, both economically and environmentally. Some ride their bikes, some plant trees... and others wear earth friendly clothing. I have always known about the "vegan" shoes, and the woven hemp bags, but it wasn't until I read an article in the New York Times about recycled fashions (not second hand) that I actually started to look into "earth friendly" clothing. After peeking around Google, I found a few companies that are both kind to our earthy mother, but are also quite stylish and unique. For someone who cherishes the earth, i'm sure that these companies are just for you. Frei Designs style their range of dresses, shirts, pants, and jackets in not so much as a "hippie comfortable" way, but rather in a fashion and earth concious way. Their clothes are made from organic cotton, and without the presence of toxic chemicals, with all natural dying, and with complete fair trade. Im sure that our green mother appreciates it. Not only are these 100% earth healthy, but 100% cute if I may say so myself.
