It's that time of the year again... and I think you know which one- not just Spring Season, but Prom time! The time when a girl can get dressed up in an outrageous dress, and a pair of heels that as soon as the dancing starts- make their way off her feet and into coat check. The time of the year where the guys are in charge of getting haircuts, putting on tuxes, and arranging limos. aka, one of my favourite times. My grandmother in Australia has a friend from Milan who know's some of the top designers- Ann Demeulemeester for one, and apparently Alberta Ferretti as a second. This friend of my Nana's apparently likes to give presents and even though i've never met her, i got a lovely little black dress from Alberta Ferretti , humbly handed to me when my Nana came to visit. How sweet. Only now, I have to find something to pair it with (pearls of course), but as far as shoes go, it has proven harder than it sounds. I was dreaming of a pair of mossy green or purple pumps, but my searches have been unsuccessful. Any ideas?? As for everything else... I'm leaving that up to my date.
