The List of Now

I told you that I made a lot of lists- and I have been... just on paper, not cyberspace. But here is my first list: The summer list. These are the things that for ME represent time, change, and up-and-coming trends that are peeking through the fashion doors

• The new Dolce and Gabana Lipstick in "Splendid"
• Loose fitting and un-defined sleeved shirts (see anthropologie)
• Very structured dresses- with sharp edges, and defined waist
• Tasseled jewellery (I like the Vera Wang pieces)
• Chunky open toed platform sandals
• Tribal, African inspired pieces (Dresses, bracelets, etc.)
• Loose fitting dresses with a cinched waist (with a belt, or not)
• Triangle Bikinis
• Silk, pleated shorts
• Those Louis Vuitton spicy sandals.. they're still hanging around
• Loud colored statement pieces- Mixing pastels with neons to find a median hue (aka Marni)
• The Christian Louboutin Seriosa Flat in black patent leather (gorgeous)
• Sweet meets army ensembles- Floral flouncy dresses, with thick belts, or army boots (Doc Martens)
• Erin Fetherston's metallic ruby colored blazer
• Intense yet elegant hairstyles- like Prada's, or Yves Saint Laurent's in the Fall Runway collection
• Mismatched bags (or even make your own)- get an old bag, and sew buttons, labels, and knick knacks ALL over it À la Chanel.
